holy schnikes. that had to be a hard episode to write and act. i found myself closely questioning the mom's story and though i was mostly ok with it (what was her excuse now?), i realized that my questioning is because i truly treat these characters like real people in my head, as i did with "with the angels," and originally, lonelygirl15. then i laughed thinking about the difference with the way lonelygirl15 would treat these kind of interactions in season 2 and 3 - like gina meeting her mom, or gina dying.
