I saw some interesting news related to something that Hye said earlier...

This gives me nightmare flashbacks to the Sarah Palin crap. If Obama had a teenage daughter who got pregnant, he and she would be attacked by the right. Palin's teenage daughter gets pregnant and the right hails them as heroes for not having an abortion and taking responsibility. Some on the right, who are normally appalled by unwed mothers, were just about applauding them for it. The hypocratic dissonance is staggering.
Seems to me that Sarah Palin is now saying the bigger issue is not abstinence, but dealing with teen pregnancy properly when it happens:
SARAH PALIN: Exactly. Exactly. So you get behind that, that ideal of, yes, abstinence, you know? Hey, don't get pregnant. Well, get beyond that when it happens, and then you deal with it. Life happens. Life happens and you deal with it, and Bristol's dealing with it wonderfully.
Oh, and even Bristol says that "everyone should be abstinent or whatever, but it's not realistic at all"..."Because it's more and more accepted now." I wonder how that opinion would have held up during the campaign season.
